This print was created in conjunction with the Glasgow Print Studio 50th Anniversary Here & Now Legacy Project. "Superstitions surrounding the door and all its facets have evolved through the ages and the human image of the door through metaphor is endless. I am fascinated by the enigma of the door through landscape, with its symbols of the unknown, overgrown or otherwise, where it leads, which path is taken by choice or by chance. For this piece I have chosen to express my work and thoughts through etching as I feel it can show some depth through the medium. 'A picture must be fertile' - Joan Miro"
