Liberty, 2015
Frank Quitely is the pen name of Vincent Deighan, a Scottish comic book artist best known for his collaborations with Mark Millar and Grant Morrison. He was born in Rutherglen, Scotland in 1968. He has worked on many high-profile series, including New X-Men, We3, Batman and Robin, Sandman and The Authority.
In 2015 Quitely was part of the exhibition Comic Art: Millarworld and Beyond at Glasgow Print Studio, which featured artworks taken from collaborative titles written by Mark Millar and realised by a wide range of international artists including Dave Gibbons, Sean Murphy, Leinil Francis Yu, Goran Parlov and John Romita Jr.
