“Made from an earlier print and sketches from 2008 and 2014. Sailing from Crinan to Oban my first acquaintance with this expansive stretch of water. Sketches show leaving Crinan at 2:30 PM on day 1, 17/07/08. Passing Corryvreckan. Later the weather had changed to rain, marked poor. This is a very wide stretch of water so I took what I got regarding weather. Passing remarkable vistas, changing and re-emerging.”
