a scone off a plate is the seventh to be published by Knife Edge Press. It has been produced in association with the Glasgow Print Studio on the occasion of an exhibition of works by Bruce McLean at the gallery of the studio in October 1990. It consists of sixteen original screenprinted images, some hand coloured, by Bruce McLean with a text by Mel Gooding. The book was produced under direction of John Mackechnie at Glasgow Print Studio in an edition limited to 100 copies, each numbered and signed.
