Extensive cliffs leading to a precipitous head is unmissable with mist and low cloud gathering on the opposite side of this smaller sea Loch. Visibility on Colonsay was clear but was not on my agenda. The return trip focused on the starboard side as the weather changed to a more dramatic light over Jura and the Garvellachs. Open deck with little protection.”
