Frost is known for linking computerised and hand-made approaches in process-based self-portraits. The modular repetition and hand-pixellated effect of Frost’s self portrait Layered Blind Drawing 2 (2008) was achieved via a variation of Frost’s ‘Blind Drawing’ technique. This term is part description of the process and allusion to the blank depiction of the subjects depicted and reference to the Braille-like effect of the resulting surface. Frost’s ‘Blind Drawings' are part of an ongoing series started in 2006.
