Works can be bought online through our secure server system with Stripe. We accept most major credit or debit cards. Apple Pay is also offered.
If you would prefer to purchase by gift voucher or bank transfer please contact us and we will be happy to arrange that.
If you need further images or information, advice on framing, or to discuss any other aspect of your purchase we will be delighted to assist.
Receiving prints
We work to ensure the utmost care is taken to get the item transported to you in its finest condition. Ideally, you would leave the prints in the packaging and take directly to a framer, or we can send directly to your framer.
We understand that this will not always be the case, so please exercise great care in removing rolled works from tubes, and in removing flat packaging.
We do not recommend storing prints in tubes for a long period of time.
Cancellations and Returns
If you are not satisfied with the goods or have changed your mind you have the right to cancel within 14 days of receipt of the goods, return the goods in the state they were sent and receive a full refund. Please note, we will carefully inspect returned goods before finalising any refund requested.
Please contact us before you return goods, telling us that you are intending to return the goods and why. Goods must be returned in suitable protective packaging. We recommend retaining the packaging we used in sending the works to you.
Own Art - Interest Free Credit
Glasgow Print Studio is pleased to offer OwnArt, 0% loans for full or part-purchase of artworks. If you wish to purchase using the scheme, please contact us directly. It is not currently possible to do this through the online checkout.
Through the scheme you can apply to borrow as little as £ 100 or up to £ 2,500, interest free, paid back over over 10 monthly instalments. Applications may be completed in person or via an email link. Please note that if you come in person intending to make an application you must bring with you proof of signature (e.g. a debit or credit card) and proof of your home address (e.g. a driver's licence, bank statement or utility bill). Own Art may only be used for living artists. Further information may be found here.
Standard Carriage Rates - Mailing Tube
The safe delivery of original artwork is a key priority, and we can draw on a over a decade of experience on a worldwide basis. Typical carriage rates per unframed piece are, UK £20, all other countries £45.
Carriage Arrangements - Mailing Tube
Our default UK service for unframed works (tubed) is next working day, excluding weekends and Tuesdays.
Other countries will take longer and is dependant on the particular service booked, destination territory and type/size of package utilised.
In the unlikely event of damage caused by the carrier in transit, you will receive a refund.
Carriage Arrangements - Flat Pack
We offer alternative arrangements for works which are unsuitable for standard tubed carriage due to size, fragility, or other factors. In these cases, the transaction is finalised when the customer accepts the alternative method of carriage offered.
Surcharges for particular couriers and alternative packing arrangement should be anticipated.
