40/40 is a suite of prints created in 2013 celebrating Glasgow Print Studio's 40 years in existence. 40 artists associated with Glasgow Print Studio were invited to make editions of 40 prints in whatever print medium they chose.
The names in the list are variations on the name of Saint Thaney: a single parent cast out by her own father. She is the mother of Saint Kentigern, known as Saint Mungo. Over time many forms of her name have been used with Saint Enoch the most recognisable to anyone familiar with Glasgow. Trongate was once known as Saint Tenus Gait, providing a link to the Print Studio's present location in Trongate 103.
Jacki Parry was a founding member of Glasgow Print Studio in 1972 and served on the Board of Management for several years. She had a solo show in the Gallery in 2012.
